Milwaukee 1/8″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit (12 PK)

REINFORCED THUNDERBOLT WEB FOR MAXIMUM RIGIDITY AND TOOL LIFE

The Milwaukee Thunderbolt Black Oxide drill bit is engineered to solve the primary failure point of standard jobber bits: core snapping. By utilizing a thicker Thunderbolt web, this bit provides superior structural integrity against side-load breakage, making it an essential high-ROI consumable for high-torque portable drilling. The 135-degree split point eliminates the need for center punching by engaging the material immediately upon contact, while the parabolic flute geometry ensures rapid chip evacuation to mitigate heat buildup and extend the cutting edge’s sharp life. For professionals managing high-volume drilling in metal, wood, or plastic, the 3-flat Secure-Grip shank ensures that every ounce of drill torque is transferred to the workpiece without slipping in the chuck.

• / Thunderbolt Web Design: Thicker core provides ultimate strength and protects against breakage during heavy side-loading.
• / 135 Split Point: Precision start tip begins drilling on contact to prevent walking and ensure accurate hole placement.
• / Parabolic Flutes: Specially shaped to clear chips and debris quickly, keeping the bit cool and maintaining cutting efficiency.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank: Prevents the bit from spinning in the chuck under high-load applications for consistent power transfer.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides essential lubricity and corrosion resistance for long-term jobsite durability.
