Milwaukee 23/64″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

REINFORCED CORE TECHNOLOGY FOR HIGH-TORQUE METAL DRILLING

When you’re pushing through thick-gauge steel or repetitive framing tasks, standard bits often fail at the web or walk off-center. The Milwaukee 48-89-2729 is engineered with the Thunderbolt weba significantly thicker core that resists the side-load forces that typically cause breakage in portable drilling applications. The parabolic flute geometry is a critical mechanical advantage, ensuring that chips are evacuated rapidly to prevent heat buildup and binding. This bit is designed to maximize the professional ROI of high-performance cordless drills by providing a 135 split point that bites immediately on contact, eliminating the need for center punching even on curved surfaces.

• / Thunderbolt Web: A thicker core design that provides superior strength and protects against side-load breakage during heavy-duty use.
• / 135 Split Point: Delivers a precision start and prevents walking, allowing for faster, more accurate holes in metal and PVC.
• / Parabolic Flute Form: Clears chips and debris rapidly to reduce friction and maintain cooler operating temperatures for longer bit life.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank: Engineered with three flat sides to lock firmly into the drill chuck, eliminating slipping under high torque.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides essential lubricity and corrosion resistance to withstand harsh jobsite environments.
