Milwaukee 3/32″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

ENGINEERED FOR MAXIMUM CORE STRENGTH AND CHIP EVACUATION

The Milwaukee 48-89-2712 is engineered to solve the most common failure point in small-diameter drilling: bit breakage. By utilizing the Thunderbolt weba significantly thicker core than standard HSS bitsthis 3/32″ bit resists the side-load pressures that typically snap lesser accessories during handheld operation. The 135 split point is a critical mechanical feature for professionals, as it eliminates “walking” on hard surfaces, ensuring your pilot holes are placed with surgical precision. Combined with a parabolic flute design that ejects chips rapidly to minimize heat friction, this bit delivers a high ROI through extended service life and consistent performance in metal, wood, and plastic.

• / Thunderbolt Web: A reinforced thicker core that provides ultimate strength and protects against side-load breakage during rigorous drilling.
• / 135 Split Point: Starts on contact to prevent the bit from walking, allowing for faster, more accurate holes without the need for a center punch.
• / Parabolic Flute: Specially designed geometry clears chips and debris rapidly, keeping the bit cool and extending the life of the cutting edge.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides essential lubricity and superior corrosion resistance to maintain performance in demanding jobsite environments.
