Milwaukee 5/32″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

ELIMINATE BIT WALKING AND CORE BREAKAGE WITH THUNDERBOLT TECHNOLOGY

Engineered for the high-torque demands of professional-grade portable drills, the Milwaukee 5/32″ Thunderbolt Black Oxide Drill Bit is a masterclass in mechanical durability. Unlike standard bits that fail under lateral pressure, the Thunderbolt web features a significantly thicker core that reinforces the bit against side-load breakage. This structural integrity is paired with a parabolic flute geometry that ejects chips with high efficiency, preventing the heat buildup that typically dulls cutting edges. For professionals working on curved surfaces or stainless steel, the 135 split point is essential, providing a precision start that bites into the material immediately without the frustration of bit walking.

• / Thunderbolt Web: Thicker core design maximizes cross-sectional strength to resist breakage during aggressive drilling or side-loading.
• / 135 Split Point: Precision-ground tip starts on contact, eliminating the need for a center punch and preventing bit travel on slick surfaces.
• / Parabolic Flute Geometry: Rapidly clears debris and chips to keep the cutting edge cool, significantly extending the service life of the bit.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides superior lubricity to reduce friction and protects against corrosion in harsh jobsite environments.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank: Prevents the bit from slipping in the chuck under high-torque applications for consistent power transfer.
