Milwaukee 7/8″ x 6″ Ship Auger Bit

ENGINEERED FOR THE ROUGH-IN: UNSTOPPABLE PERFORMANCE IN NAIL-EMBEDDED LUMBER

When you’re boring through stacked 2x10s or heavy timber, hitting a nail shouldn’t mean a trip to the sharpener. The Milwaukee 48-13-0873 is engineered with a through-center cutting design that provides a solid striking point against hardware, effectively doubling the life of the bit compared to standard geometries. The 20 rake angle isn’t just for show; its a calculated geometry that balances aggressive material removal with the durability needed to survive high-torque applications. Whether you’re running Romex or PEX, the non-stick coated flutes ensure that even sappy pine or pressure-treated lumber won’t clog the bit, maintaining high-speed chip evacuation throughout the entire 6-inch depth.

• / Through-Center Cutting Design: Delivers a superior striking point against nails for 2X longer life without resharpening.
• / Polished and Coated Flutes: Non-stick finish prevents sap and glue buildup, ensuring maximum chip removal in deep holes.
• / 20 Rake Angle: Hardened one-face design provides the ideal balance of nail resistance and easy field sharpening.
• / Impact-Rated Shank: Built with a 7/16″ hex shank to withstand the high-torque output of professional impact wrenches.
