Milwaukee 27/64″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

ENGINEERED FOR HIGH-TORQUE LOADS AND MAXIMUM CORE STRENGTH

The Milwaukee Thunderbolt series represents a significant mechanical upgrade over standard jobber bits. By incorporating a thicker webthe “Thunderbolt” coreMilwaukee has engineered out the primary failure point of traditional bits: side-load breakage. This 27/64″ bit features a parabolic flute design that optimizes chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup and extending the life of the cutting edge. For professionals running high-torque cordless drills, the 3-flat Secure-Grip shank is a critical inclusion, ensuring the bit remains locked in the chuck even when encountering heavy resistance in thick-gauge metal or hardwoods.

• / THICKER CORE GEOMETRY: The Thunderbolt web provides superior structural integrity, protecting the bit against snapping during high-torque or side-load maneuvers.
• / 135 SPLIT POINT: Eliminates the need for a center punch by starting on contact, preventing bit “walking” on curved or polished surfaces.
• / PARABOLIC FLUTE DESIGN: Rapidly clears material and swarf to keep the cutting edge cool and maintain drilling speed.
• / SECURE-GRIP SHANK: Three flat sides on the shank prevent the bit from spinning in the chuck under heavy load, maximizing power transfer.
• / CORROSION RESISTANT FINISH: The black oxide coating provides essential lubricity and protects the tool from oxidation in harsh jobsite environments.
