Refine sanding: Continue sanding with the P1000 and then the P3000 grit discs to progressively refine the surface. Compounding: Apply 3M Perfect-It EX Rubbing Compound to the compounding pad and polish the lens using the 3″ polisher. Polishing: Apply 3M Perfect-It EX Machine Polish to the polishing pad and polish the lens to achieve a high-gloss finish. Inspect and repeat: Inspect the lens for any remaining imperfections.
