AEMC 2153.36 Digital FlexProbe Model 400D-24 w/6′ Lead

Current Readings Where Clamps Cant Go

An ideal addition to the electricians tool kit, the Digital FlexProbe(Models 400D and 4000D) is a flexible-sensor current meter designed to deliver fast, direct, True RMS AC current readingsin places where rigid jaws cant reach. Its compact, simple to operate, and ideal for troubleshooting and verification inside crowded panels and cabinets.

Choose Your Model

Model 400D Everyday electrical work

Built for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications, the 400D available with either a (10 or 24) inch sensor, measures from 20 mA to 400 A AC (model dependent), making it a practical tool for checking distribution circuits and loads.

Model 4000D Industrial + utility current levels

For higher-power environments, the 4000D available with either a (14 or 24) inch sensor, measures from 200 mA to 4000 A AC (model dependent) and is suited for industrial installations and utility work where higher currents are common.

Key Features

• Measurement range: 20 mA to 4000 A AC (model dependent)
• True RMS for accurate AC current on distorted signals
• Flexible current sensor for conductors in tight, hard-to-reach places
• Auto-ranging + HOLD for quick capture and stable readings
• Resolution down to 1 mA (model dependent)
• Frequency range: 10 Hz to 3 kHz
• Power: (2) AAA batteries; ~70 hours typical battery life
• Safety: 600 V CAT IV; IEC 61010 compliance

Three Reasons Youll Reach for FlexProbe First

• Access:Flexible sensor reaches what clamp jaws cant.
• Trust:True RMS readings across real-world loads.
• Quick Workflow:Direct display + HOLD + optional hands-free MultiFix.

Hands-free Option

Optional MultiFix universal mounting system (Cat. #5000.44) lets you position the FlexProbe where you need it and keep both hands free.

Video: Measure AC Current Anywhere Even in Tight Spaces

When panel space is limited, accuracy shouldnt be. This video walks through how AEMC Digital FlexProbes make AC current measurement simple, safe, and precise even in the most crowded electrical environments.
