Milwaukee 1-1/16″ x 6″ Ship Auger Bit

REINFORCED CUTTING GEOMETRY FOR UNSTOPPABLE NAIL-EMBEDDED DRILLING

The Milwaukee 48-13-1063 1-1/16″ x 6″ Ship Auger Bit is engineered to solve the most common failure point in heavy-duty timber boring: nail strikes. Unlike traditional bits with ahead-of-center or behind-center designs, this bit utilizes a through-center cutting geometry that provides a solid, stable striking point against nails, preventing the bit from binding or shattering. The impact-rated 7/16″ hex shank ensures this accessory can handle the high-torque demands of modern impact wrenches, making it a critical asset for utility work, heavy framing, and landscaping applications where speed and durability are non-negotiable.

• / Through-Center Cutting Design provides a more solid striking point against nails for 2X longer life without resharpening.
• / Polished and Coated Flutes feature a non-stick surface that facilitates rapid chip removal even in sap-heavy or glue-laminated materials.
• / Hardened 20 Rake Angle enhances nail resistance and allows for faster, easier field sharpening to maintain peak performance.
• / 7/16″ Impact-Rated Hex Shank provides the structural integrity required for use with high-torque impact wrenches and drills.
