Milwaukee 1-1/8″ x 6″ Ship Auger Bit

ENGINEERED FOR HIGH-TORQUE WOOD BORING AND NAIL RESISTANCE

The Milwaukee 48-13-1123 1-1/4″ x 18″ Ship Auger Bit represents a significant advancement in boring technology, specifically engineered to handle the high-torque demands of modern impact wrenches while maintaining the precision required for clean through-holes. Built with a hardened, one-face 20 rake angle, this bit is designed to survive encounters with embedded nails that would typically destroy standard carbon steel bits. The geometry allows for consistent chip breaking and simplified field sharpening, ensuring a high professional ROI over the life of the tool. To combat the friction and heat buildup common in deep-hole drilling, the flutes feature a specialized non-stick coating that facilitates rapid chip ejection, preventing the bit from binding even in resinous or pressure-treated lumber.

• / Impact-Rated 7/16″ Shank provides the structural integrity needed for use with high-torque impact wrenches and drills.
• / Double Wing Spurs continually scribe the circumference of the hole to produce a smooth, splinter-free finish without breakout.
• / Non-Stick Coated Flutes reduce friction and heat, allowing for faster chip ejection and eliminating the need for frequent cleaning.
• / 20 Rake Angle Design enhances nail resistance and allows for easy sharpening to maintain peak performance on the jobsite.
