Milwaukee 1/16″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

REINFORCED THUNDERBOLT WEB FOR MAXIMUM BREAKAGE RESISTANCE

In high-torque drilling applications, the most common failure point for small-diameter bits is side-load snapping. The Milwaukee Thunderbolt series addresses this with a significantly thicker core than standard jobber bits, providing the structural integrity needed for aggressive portable drilling. The 135 split point is a critical feature for the 1/16″ diameter, ensuring the bit engages the material immediately upon contact without walkingeven on curved or polished surfaces. Combined with a parabolic flute design that ejects chips rapidly to manage heat, these bits deliver a professional ROI through extended tool life and consistent hole accuracy.

• / Thunderbolt Web: Thicker core diameter protects against breakage during deep-hole drilling and side-loading.
• / 135 Split Point: Starts on contact to eliminate bit walking and reduce the effort required to penetrate hard materials.
• / Parabolic Flute: Optimized geometry clears debris and chips faster to keep the bit cool and maintain cutting speed.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides essential lubricity and corrosion resistance for long-term durability in varied environments.
