Milwaukee 1/2″ x 18″ Ship Auger Bit

MAXIMUM CHIP CLEARANCE FOR DEEP-BORE NAIL-EMBEDDED LUMBER

When boring through 18 inches of structural timber or landscaping ties, the primary failure points are heat buildup from chip clogging and edge dulling from hidden fasteners. This Milwaukee Ship Auger Bit is engineered with a through-center cutting design that provides a robust striking point against nails, effectively doubling the service life compared to standard offset designs. The 20-degree rake angle is optimized to eject waste material rapidly while maintaining a sharp edge through sap-heavy or glue-laminated materials, ensuring high-speed production without the downtime of frequent resharpening.

• / Through-Center Cutting Design: Engineered to strike nails head-on for superior durability and 2X longer life without needing resharpening.
• / Non-Stick Coated Flutes: Polished finish prevents sap and glue adhesion, ensuring maximum chip removal in deep-hole applications.
• / Impact-Rated Shank: High-torque construction is strong enough to be used with an impact wrench, providing maximum versatility across tool platforms.
• / 20-Degree Rake Angle: Hardened one-face design enhances nail resistance and allows for fast, easy field sharpening when required.
