Milwaukee 1-3/8″ x 18′ Ship Auger Bit

MAXIMIZE DRILLING EFFICIENCY IN NAIL-EMBEDDED LUMBER

When boring through heavy timber or deep-set framing, the internal geometry of the bit determines both the longevity of your power tools and the speed of your installation. The Milwaukee 48-13-6370 is engineered with a through-center cutting design, providing a more robust striking point when encountering hardware compared to traditional offset designs. This structural reinforcement prevents the bit from binding or shattering when hitting 16D nails. The 20 rake angle works in tandem with the polished, non-stick flutes to eject chips rapidly, reducing the heat friction that typically degrades bit sharpness in sap-heavy or pressure-treated woods. Designed for high-torque applications, the impact-rated shank ensures this bit can transition seamlessly between high-output drills and impact wrenches without risk of shank failure.

• / Through-Center Cutting Design provides a solid striking point for 2X more nail life without needing resharpening.
• / 20 Rake Angle enhances chip removal speed and allows for easier field sharpening to maintain peak performance.
• / Polished and Coated Flutes eliminate chip stickage, ensuring smooth operation even in sap-rich or glue-laminated materials.
• / Impact-Rated 7/16″ Shank offers the versatility to use the bit with high-torque impact wrenches or standard drill chucks.
