Milwaukee 1-9/16″ SDS Max Rotary Hammer

CONSTANT-TORQUE CONCRETE PENETRATION

When the production schedule demands non-stop throughput on high-strength concrete, the Milwaukee 5517-21 1-9/16 SDS MAX Rotary Hammer delivers the mechanical endurance required for aggressive drilling and heavy-duty chipping. Powered by a robust 14-amp brushed motor, this unit generates a massive 5.6 ft-lbs of impact energy, making it a critical asset for structural anchoring and masonry modification. Designed to maximize fleet ROI, the tool features a drop-motor design for better balance and a mechanical clutch that mitigates drivetrain damage during inevitable bit binds, ensuring this hammer stays in the rotation longer than the competition.

• / High-Impact 5.6 Ft-Lbs Motor: Engineered to deliver hard-hitting performance for aggressive penetration through dense aggregate and structural masonry.
• / AVS Anti-Vibration System: Advanced internal damping significantly reduces felt vibration to the operator, increasing daily productivity and meeting safety standards.
• / Two-Mode Versatility: Dedicated rotary hammer and hammer-only settings allow for precise drilling or high-torque scaling and demolition work.
• / 12-Position Chisel Rotation: Enables the operator to lock bits at the perfect angle for ergonomic chipping in tight spaces or overhead.
• / Mechanical Clutch: Instantaneous motor disengagement during bit jams protects both the internal gear set and the user from high-torque kickback.
