Milwaukee 1″ x 6″ Ship Auger Bit

HEAVY-DUTY TIMBER BORING WITH SUPERIOR NAIL CRUSHING POWER

High-torque drilling demands a bit that doesn’t just cut wood but survives the hidden hazards of structural timber. The Milwaukee 1 in. x 6 in. Ship Auger Bit is engineered for the professional who encounters nail-embedded lumber and needs to maintain speed without constant bit swaps. By utilizing a through-center cutting design, this bit provides a more stable striking point against metal obstructions, preventing the deflection and edge-chipping often seen in inferior designs. Whether you’re boring through pressure-treated piers or running heavy-gauge wire through stacked headers, the polished flute geometry ensures that chips clear instantly, preventing heat buildup and binding even in resinous or wet material containing sap or glue.

• / Through-Center Cutting Design: Delivers a solid striking point against nails for 2X the life in nail-embedded wood compared to standard bits.
• / Hardened 20 Rake Angle: Optimized for aggressive chip removal and easy field sharpening to maintain peak performance through thousands of holes.
• / Polished and Coated Flutes: The non-stick finish eliminates costly cleaning time by preventing sap and debris from adhering to the bit.
• / Impact-Rated Shank: Engineered with a 7/16 inch hex to handle the high-torque output of impact wrenches and heavy-duty drills.
