Milwaukee 11/32″ COBALT RED HELIX Drill Bit

ENGINEERED FOR EXTREME THERMAL RESISTANCE IN HARD METAL DRILLING

The Milwaukee 48-89-2319 is a precision-engineered 11/32″ cobalt drill bit designed to tackle the most demanding high-heat applications, including stainless steel and cast iron. By utilizing a specialized cobalt alloy, this bit maintains its structural integrity and cutting edge long after standard high-speed steel bits have failed. The RED HELIX variable flute geometry is a mechanical breakthrough, transitioning from an aggressive 35 angle to a 15 exit to clear chips rapidly. This specialized chip evacuation prevents heat soak, ensuring the bit stays sharper for up to 15X longer than black oxide alternatives. For professionals drilling into thick plate or structural steel, the 135 split point provides an immediate, centered start without the need for a pilot hole or center punch.

• / 135 Split Point Tip: Delivers a precision start on contact and prevents bit walking on hard or curved surfaces.
• / RED HELIX Variable Flute: Optimized 35 to 15 helix angle ensures rapid chip removal to limit thermal buildup.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank: Prevents the bit from spinning or slipping within the chuck during high-torque drilling.
• / Enhanced Tapered Web: Strengthens the core of the bit to resist side-load breakage and increase overall tool life.
