Milwaukee 15/16″ S&D Black Oxide Drill Bit

INDUSTRIAL-GRADE BORING FOR HIGH-TENSILE STEEL AND CAST IRON

Engineered for the rigorous demands of industrial hole-making, the Milwaukee Thunderbolt Silver & Deming drill bit features a reinforced core that provides a significant mechanical advantage over standard twist bits. The Thunderbolt web design is engineered with a thicker cross-section to resist side-load breakage, ensuring long-term professional ROI when boring through stainless steel and cast iron. By utilizing a parabolic flute geometry, this bit maximizes chip ejection to mitigate heat buildup, which is the primary cause of premature bit failure in high-torque applications. The 1/2-inch reduced shank allows for large-diameter boring using standard handheld drills, while the integrated 3-flat grip ensures that the torque generated by the tool is transferred directly to the cutting surface without slippage in the chuck.

• / 135 Split Point Tip starts on contact to eliminate walking and the need for a center punch in hard metals.
• / Thunderbolt Web Design features a thicker core for increased strength and protection against flute breakage.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank prevents the bit from spinning in the jawed chuck during high-load drilling.
• / Black Oxide Coating provides superior lubricity and corrosion resistance for extended tool life in wet or dry conditions.
• / Parabolic Flute Geometry clears chips rapidly to prevent clogging and reduce frictional heat.
