Milwaukee 15/64″ COBALT RED HELIX Drill Bit

DOMINATE HARD METALS WITH ADVANCED THERMAL MANAGEMENT

Drilling through stainless steel, cast iron, and high-tensile alloys is the ultimate test of a bit’s metallurgy and geometry. The Milwaukee COBALT RED HELIX series is specifically engineered to solve the “heat-kill” problem that destroys standard bits in seconds. By utilizing a variable helix designstarting at an aggressive 35 and transitioning to 15these bits evacuate chips at a much higher velocity, preventing the friction-induced heat soak that dulls cutting edges. The 135 split point is critical for professional precision, ensuring the bit bites immediately upon contact without the need for a center punch, while the integrated Chip Breaker reduces heat buildup at the point of contact for maximum tool life and professional ROI.

• / 135 Split Point ensures a precision start and eliminates walking on curved or hard surfaces.
• / Variable Helix RED HELIX geometry provides rapid chip removal to keep the bit cooler for longer.
• / Cobalt construction offers up to 10X the service life of standard black oxide bits in high-tensile metal applications.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank prevents the bit from spinning in the chuck under high torque loads.
