Milwaukee 15/64″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

REINFORCED CORE TECHNOLOGY FOR MAXIMUM RIGIDITY AND DRILLING PRECISION

The Milwaukee 48-89-2721 is engineered to solve the primary failure point of standard jobber bits: core snapping under side-load. By utilizing the Thunderbolt web design, this bit features a significantly thicker core that provides the structural integrity needed for high-torque portable drilling. The parabolic flute geometry is a critical mechanical advantage, clearing chips efficiently to prevent heat-related dulling. Combined with a 135-degree split point that bites into the material immediately without walking, this bit delivers the professional-grade reliability required for repetitive drilling in metal, wood, and plastic.

• / Thunderbolt Web: Engineered with a thicker core to resist side-load breakage during aggressive drilling.
• / Parabolic Flute: Rapidly ejects chips and debris to minimize heat buildup and extend cutting edge life.
• / 135 Split Point: Eliminates bit walking on contact, allowing for immediate penetration on curved or flat surfaces.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip Shank: Prevents the bit from spinning in the chuck under high-torque loads for better control.
• / Black Oxide Coating: Provides essential lubricity and corrosion resistance for long-term jobsite durability.
