Milwaukee 17/64″ COBALT RED HELIX Drill Bit

ENGINEERED FOR EXTREME METAL DRILLING PERFORMANCE

When your jobsite demands repeatable precision in high-tensile materials like stainless steel and cast iron, standard black oxide bits simply won’t cut it. The Milwaukee Cobalt RED HELIX drill bit is engineered with a specialized cobalt alloy that maintains structural integrity and edge sharpness at temperatures that would melt conventional steel. By utilizing a variable helix geometrystarting at an aggressive 35 and tapering to 15this bit optimizes chip evacuation to prevent the friction-induced heat that leads to premature tool failure. This mechanical efficiency translates directly to a lower cost-per-hole and maximum productivity during heavy-duty fabrication cycles.

• / Cobalt alloy construction provides up to 10X the service life of standard bits when drilling through hardened metals and stainless steel.
• / Variable RED HELIX design clears material faster, significantly reducing heat buildup and protecting the bit’s cutting edge.
• / 135 split point tip delivers a precision start on contact, eliminating bit walking even on curved or polished surfaces.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank prevents the bit from spinning in the chuck, ensuring maximum torque transfer during high-load drilling.
• / Integrated CHIP BREAKER technology splits large shavings into smaller pieces for cleaner work environments and faster material removal.
