Milwaukee 2-1/4 in. SWITCHBLADE Selfeed Bit 48-25-5143

ELIMINATE DOWNTIME WITH FIELD-REPLACEABLE CUTTING EDGES

The Milwaukee 2-1/4 in. SWITCHBLADE Selfeed bit represents a significant advancement in wood-boring efficiency, moving away from the limitations of traditional fixed-blade bits. By utilizing a replaceable blade system, this bit ensures that a dull edge never slows down a rough-in. The hardened steel blades are engineered to withstand the rigors of repetitive cutting through dimensional lumber, while the aggressive feed screw geometry provides the mechanical pull required to maintain high drilling speeds without excessive force. This system maximizes the return on investment by extending the core bit’s life indefinitely through simple component replacement, ensuring you always have a factory-sharp edge on the jobsite.

• / Hardened steel replaceable blades eliminate the need for resharpening and ensure a factory-sharp edge on demand.
• / Aggressive feed screw design pulls the bit through wood faster, reducing user fatigue and increasing holes per charge.
• / 7/16″ hex shank is optimized for use with 1/2″ drills and 7/16″ Quick-Lok extensions for deep-hole applications.
• / Laser-etched size markings on both the bit and the blades allow for rapid identification in the field.
