Milwaukee 25/64″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

ENGINEERED FOR MAXIMUM CORE STRENGTH AND CHIP CLEARANCE

The Milwaukee Thunderbolt Black Oxide series is specifically engineered to address the primary failure point of standard jobber bits: web snapping under side-load pressure. By utilizing a significantly thicker core, these bits provide the structural integrity required for high-torque drilling in stainless steel, cast iron, and thick wood. The parabolic flute geometry is optimized for rapid chip evacuation, preventing the thermal buildup that typically compromises bit hardness. For professionals utilizing high-performance cordless drills, the 3-flat Secure-Grip shank is a critical mechanical feature, ensuring that the full torque of the motor is transferred to the workpiece without slipping in the chuck.

• / Thunderbolt Web design features a thicker core to protect against side-load breakage and extend tool life in demanding applications.
• / 135 Split Point tip enables precision starts on contact, eliminating bit walking on curved or hardened surfaces.
• / Parabolic flute geometry clears chips and debris rapidly to maintain lower operating temperatures and prevent binding.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank prevents the bit from spinning in the chuck under heavy loads, maximizing power transfer.
• / Black Oxide coating provides essential lubricity and superior corrosion resistance for long-term jobsite durability.
