Milwaukee 29/64″ COBALT RED HELIX Drill Bit

MAXIMUM HEAT RESISTANCE FOR HARD METAL PENETRATION

When you’re drilling through stainless steel, cast iron, or thick-gauge structural steel, heat is the primary enemy of your cutting edge. The Milwaukee 29/64″ Cobalt RED HELIX bit is engineered specifically to combat thermal breakdown in high-torque applications. By utilizing a variable helix geometrystarting at an aggressive 35 and tapering to 15this bit clears chips at an accelerated rate, preventing the friction-induced welding of material to the flutes. The cobalt alloy construction maintains its structural integrity at temperatures where standard high-speed steel would soften, ensuring a professional ROI through significantly extended service life in abrasive materials.

• / 135 Split Point: Eliminates bit walking on hard surfaces for precise hole placement without the need for a center punch.
• / Variable RED HELIX Flute: Optimizes chip evacuation to reduce heat buildup and maintain cutting edge sharpness for up to 15X longer than black oxide.
• / QUAD EDGE Tip: Features four cutting edges to create smaller, manageable chips for faster material removal and lower operating temperatures.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip: The reduced 3/8″ shank features three flat sides to prevent the bit from spinning or slipping in the chuck under heavy load.
