Milwaukee 3/16″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

MAXIMIZE UPTIME WITH REINFORCED THUNDERBOLT CORE GEOMETRY

Professional-grade drilling requires more than just a sharp edge; it demands a bit that can survive the rigors of high-torque portable drilling. The Milwaukee Thunderbolt series is engineered with a significantly thicker web than standard bits, providing the structural integrity needed to resist side-load breakagea common failure point when drilling in tight or awkward positions. The parabolic flute geometry is specifically designed to eject chips at a higher velocity, which reduces friction and heat buildup, effectively extending the service life of the bit. For the professional looking to maximize their ROI on consumables, these bits offer the durability required for repetitive, high-demand applications in metal, wood, and plastic.

• / THICKER CORE STRENGTH: The Thunderbolt web features a reinforced core that provides ultimate durability and protects against breakage from side-loading.
• / 135 SPLIT POINT: Precision-ground tip starts cutting immediately on contact, eliminating bit walk and the need for a center punch.
• / RAPID CHIP CLEARANCE: Parabolic flute design clears debris quickly to keep the bit cool and maintain cutting efficiency in deep-hole applications.
• / CORROSION PROTECTION: Black oxide coating provides essential lubricity while resisting rust and corrosion for long-term jobsite reliability.
• / SECURE CHUCK GRIP: Features a 3-flat Secure-Grip shank to prevent the bit from slipping in the chuck under high load.
