Milwaukee 31/32″ S&D Black Oxide Drill Bit

MAXIMIZE BORE DIAMETER WITHOUT SACRIFICING CORE STRENGTH

Large-diameter drilling in stainless steel or cast iron demands a bit that balances aggressive material removal with structural integrity. The Thunderbolt Silver & Deming series utilizes a thicker core than standard twist bits, significantly reducing the risk of breakage under high-load applications. The parabolic flute design is engineered specifically for rapid chip ejection, preventing the heat buildup that typically dulls inferior bits during deep-hole penetration. For the professional, this means faster cycle times and a higher return on investment per bit in high-tensile materials.

• / Thunderbolt Web design provides a thicker core for increased strength and protection against side-load breakage.
• / 135 Split Point tip delivers immediate engagement on contact, eliminating the need for a center punch even on curved surfaces.
• / 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank locks into 1/2″ chucks to ensure maximum torque transfer without bit slippage.
• / Black Oxide coating provides essential lubricity, reducing friction and extending the service life of the cutting edges.
