Milwaukee 4″ Stringer Bead Wheel – Stainless

AGGRESSIVE WELD CLEANING FOR PRECISION FABRICATION

When cleaning root passes or prepping pipe joints, the mechanical integrity of your wire wheel determines the speed of the pass and the quality of the weld. This stringer bead wheel utilizes Hyperwire Construction, a proprietary manufacturing process that increases the density and stiffness of the wire knots. This ensures the narrow profile maintains its shape under heavy pressure, preventing the “flaring” common in lower-grade accessories. For stainless steel applications, using a dedicated stainless wheel is critical to prevent cross-contamination and subsequent oxidation on the workpiece, ensuring code-compliant results in fabrication shops and pipeline maintenance.

• / Hyperwire Construction delivers faster material removal and significantly extended service life compared to standard knotted wheels.
• / High-stiffness tight twist design provides a narrow face for aggressive action in confined areas and tight pipe joints.
• / Precision-balanced construction reduces tool vibration, minimizing operator fatigue and protecting the grinder’s internal bearings.
• / Stainless steel wire prevents carbon contamination on sensitive workpieces, maintaining the corrosion resistance of the base metal.
