Milwaukee 5/8″ x 6-1/2″ Auger Bit

CLEAN BORES AND IMPACT DURABILITY FOR HIGH-VOLUME ROUGH-INS

High-torque impact drivers have fundamentally changed how tradesmen bore through dimensional lumber, and the Milwaukee 48-13-0725 is engineered specifically to handle that mechanical stress. By utilizing double wing spurs, this bit scribes the circumference of the hole before the main cutting edge engages, effectively eliminating the splintering and breakout that often plagues standard augers. The geometry is optimized for speed, but the real engineering win is the polished and coated flute design. This reduces friction significantly, ensuring that chips are ejected efficiently even in sap-heavy or damp wood, preventing the motor-straining clogs that reduce battery runtime and tool life.

• / Double Wing Spurs: Scribes the hole for clean, splinter-free exits in both finished and rough-in applications.
• / Impact-Rated Hex Shank: Engineered to withstand the high-torque pulses of modern impact drivers without the risk of shank failure.
• / Polished Flute Coating: Minimizes friction and heat buildup, ensuring rapid chip ejection and longer intervals between bit cleaning.
• / Precision Feed Screw: Pulls the bit through the material with minimal user pressure, maximizing drilling efficiency and reducing operator fatigue.
