Milwaukee 9/16″ x 18″ Ship Auger Bit

MAXIMIZE DRILLING EFFICIENCY IN NAIL-EMBEDDED TIMBER

High-performance drilling in heavy-duty structural applications requires a bit that can withstand more than just wood grain. This 9/16″ x 18″ Ship Auger Bit is engineered with a through-center cutting design, providing a robust striking point that maintains its edge even when encountering hidden nails in 2x material. The 18-inch reach is purpose-built for boring through thick piers, landscaping timbers, or overhead joists without the need for unstable extensions. By utilizing a non-stick, polished flute coating, this bit ensures that chips and debris are ejected rapidly, preventing heat buildup and friction even in sap-heavy or treated lumber. For the professional looking to maximize ROI, the impact-rated shank allows this bit to transition seamlessly from a standard drill to a high-torque impact wrench, providing the versatility needed for the most demanding jobsites.

• / Hardened 20 rake angle design provides superior nail resistance and simplifies field sharpening for extended tool life.
• / Polished and coated flute finish prevents sap and glue buildup, ensuring fast chip evacuation in deep-hole applications.
• / Through-center cutting geometry creates a solid impact point to prevent bit deflection or damage when hitting metal.
• / Impact-rated 7/16″ hex shank provides the structural integrity required for use with high-torque impact drivers.
