Milwaukee 9/64″ THUNDERBOLT Black Oxide Drill Bit

REINFORCED CORE TECHNOLOGY FOR MAXIMUM DURABILITY AND PRECISION

The Milwaukee 48-89-2715 is engineered to solve the primary failure point of standard jobber bits: core snapping under side-load pressure. By utilizing the proprietary Thunderbolt web design, this 9/64″ bit features a significantly thicker core that provides the structural integrity needed for high-torque portable drilling. The parabolic flute geometry is a critical mechanical advantage, facilitating rapid chip evacuation to prevent heat buildup and maintain the temper of the high-speed steel. For professionals drilling into curved surfaces or stainless steel, the 135 split point ensures the bit bites immediately upon contact, eliminating the need for a center punch and preventing walking for a cleaner, more efficient hole.

• / Thunderbolt Web Design features a thicker core to protect against breakage during aggressive side-loading.
• / 135 Split Point Tip starts on contact to prevent walking and ensure precision hole placement without pre-drilling.
• / Parabolic Flute Geometry clears chips and debris rapidly to keep the bit cool and extend cutting life.
• / Black Oxide Coating provides superior lubricity and corrosion resistance for long-term jobsite reliability.
