Milwaukee Magnetic Drill Pipe Adapter

MAXIMIZING STABILITY ON ROUNDED STEEL SURFACES

Achieving a perfectly perpendicular hole on a rounded surface is one of the most challenging tasks for a mechanical contractor. The Milwaukee 48-10-0130 Magnetic Drill Pipe Adapter solves the inherent stability issues of flat-base magnets on curved steel. By utilizing a specialized grooved base, this adapter maximizes the magnetic holding force on 6-inch and larger schedule 40 carbon steel pipes. This mechanical integration isn’t just about safety; its about the professional precision required to ensure that every penetration aligns perfectly with the rest of the system, reducing rework and extending the life of your annular cutters by preventing vibration-induced chatter during high-torque drilling cycles.

• / Optimized Magnetic Holding Force: Specifically engineered to provide superior grip on rounded surfaces where standard flat magnets fail.
• / Precision Alignment Geometry: The grooved bottom design allows for faster, more accurate centering on the pipe radius.
• / Heavy-Duty Pipe Compatibility: Designed for use on 6-inch schedule 40 carbon steel pipe and larger diameters.
• / Seamless M18 FUEL Integration: Easily mounts to the M18 FUEL 1-1/2″ Magnetic Drills (models 2787-22 and 2788-22).
