Milwaukee Pilot Bit

PRECISION CENTERING FOR HIGH-STRENGTH METAL FABRICATION

When you are boring through thick steel plate or stainless sheet, the pilot bit is the critical component that prevents walking and ensures concentric accuracy. The 49-57-0038 is engineered specifically to withstand the extreme heat and friction generated by carbide-tipped hole saws. Its 2-3/4 inch length provides the necessary reach for deep-engagement arbors, ensuring your hole saw makes contact with the workpiece perfectly perpendicular every time. For professionals maintaining high-volume production schedules, having a sharp, reliable pilot bit is critical to preventing tool chatter and extending the service life of the carbide teeth on the saw itself, maximizing your long-term tool ROI.

• / Carbide-tipped construction ensures maximum durability when drilling through hardened steel and stainless alloys.
• / Optimized 2-3/4 inch length provides perfect alignment for arbor model 49-57-0035.
• / High-heat resistance prevents tip dulling during high-RPM metal cutting applications.
• / Direct replacement part maintains factory-spec performance for Milwaukee carbide hole saw systems.
