Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Lineman’s Impact Auger Bit

MAXIMUM UTILITY DRILLING THROUGHPUT

In the high-stakes world of utility line maintenance, efficiency is dictated by the speed and quality of your bores. The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Lineman’s Impact Auger Bit is specifically engineered to eliminate the friction and hardware resistance common in creosote-treated and salt-pressure poles. By combining a specialized single-spur geometry with a high-performance PTFE coating, this bit creates cleaner exit holes and prevents the bit-binding that halts production in the field. This isn’t just a drill bit; it’s a precision instrument for the modern electrical infrastructure professional working under rigorous code and production timelines.

• / Single Spur Design / Pre-scores the wood grain to deliver a clean, splinter-free bore that ensures bolts slide through without additional hammering.
• / Anti-Friction PTFE Coating / Significantly reduces heat and drag, allowing for smoother penetration and faster removal from deep, moisture-heavy holes.
• / Optimized Flute Geometry / Features wide, aggressive flutes that eject wood chips instantly, preventing clogs during high-torque impact operation.
• / 7/16″ Hex Shank / Optimized for maximum grip and torque transfer in standard 7/16″ quick-connect impact wrenches common on utility trucks.
